Prismatic machining products include what we refer to as Housings, Brackets, Prisms, and Rings. These are comprised of components that require machining on multiple sides and have features such as milled flats, contours, holes, threads, recesses, ports, slots, and splines. Items such as bushings, pins, bearings, seals, ect, can be assembled and verified at point of manufacture giving us the ability to provide value added sub-assemblies ready for integration into the customer’s end-product

Materials include aluminum die-castings and extrusions, ductile and gray iron castings, alloy steel forgings, and tubing. Process technologies included in this group include: Drilling, Milling, Tapping, Thread Forming and Thread Milling, Reaming, Boring, Burnishing, Induction Hardening, Shaping, Broaching, Turning, Grinding, and a variety of deburring methods.

Close feature to feature positional relationships are maintained with innovative work-holding solutions, point of use gaging, and CMM data. Specially designed combination tooling, automation, and transfer equipment offer competitive advantage in high volume automotive applications. Medium volume flexible machining cells with captive design and build of work-holding and gaging offer peace of mind to customer’s whose fluctuation in product mix can be unpredictable.
